1.Be completely relaxed
To allow your body and your mind to give up on visualization, it is recommended to take a deep breath session before. In this way, you free your mind, while making room for your creativity.
2. Favor moving images
It has been recognized that it is easier to visualize a scene when it is in motion. When you close your eyes to imagine the house of your dreams, make it that you enter it, that you touch the objectives there and that you inhale the smells of the garden.
3. Let the sensations invade you
During the visualization, let the different sensations invade your body. You might feel butterflies in your stomach if you’re looking to fall in love, or stiffness in your legs if you want to succeed in your next marathon.
4. Repeat often
It is an exercise. Like any exercise, it is better to repeat it often to integrate all the principles.
5. Create a visualization board
On a large cardboard, affix magazine cuttings, bits of inspiring sentences or evocative images. Here you are, you’ve just made your very first visualization board!
